A1 (Acrylic One) has been used globally in cladding products, offering benefits like freedom of shape, light weight, strength, superior fire resistance, and no smoke during fire. It’s made from a powder based on calcium sulphate (CaSO4) and an acrylate-based liquid, which, when mixed, forms a resin that can be processed into products.
The water-based resin emits no VOCs, and fillers like sand can be added. With glass fibre reinforcement, thin, lightweight, complex-shaped products can be created. Its short curing time allows for efficient, fast production.
